INTRODUCTION
Benign thickenings, cysts, and neoplasms are some of the most common lesions that affect the skin. They are particularly common in the adult, whose skin seems to tire of the smooth and monochromatic appearance of childhood skin, favoring instead bumps, roughness, thickening, blemishes, and other irregularities. Both too much sun and too many birthdays contribute to this degenerative tendency.
