manubrium  (ma·nu·bri·um)  (mә-noo´bre-әm) pl. manu´bria [L.] [TA]     anatomic nomenclature for a handlelike structure or part; often used alone to designate the   manubrium sterni.
 

manubrium mal´lei  , manubrium of malleus [TA]     the largest process of the malleus; it is attached to the middle layer of the tympanic membrane and has the tendon of the   tensor tympani muscle attached to it.

manubrium ster´ni  , manubrium of sternum [TA]     the cranial portion of the sternum, which articulates with the clavicles and the first two pairs of ribs.
